The next PhIG meeting will be hosted by Glen Moore at the AIIM conference room at Campus East on Monday 16th July commencing at the usual time of 10:00 am
Please meet in the foyer of the main ICC building (No. 230) prior to 10:00 am. If you would like a coffee before the meeting It would be best to get there no later than 9:45 am The Draft Agenda will be as follows: Technical Topic: The technical topic for the June meeting will be ‘Understanding Histograms. The histogram is a very useful tool to help get the exposure correct and so it is worth understanding what it can tell us. We will kick off the meeting with a couple of short videos as a discussion starter and if you can bring along your camera to the meeting we can demonstrate how to use the histogram to adjust the exposure. Discussion topics:
Photo Critique: The photo subject for this month is ‘Showing Movement’ which is easier to do with video but for this subject we are talking about still photos which infer/show movement Could you please have your sets of photos to me by Friday 13th July As at 6th July sets of photos have been received from: R Evans, G Moore August Meeting: The August Photo topic is ‘Wharfs and Jetties’ and we have plenty to photograph in our area. The Technical topic will be ‘Photographing birds in flight’ as a lead-in to the September photo topic Comments are closed.
